Research & Policy Guidance

X - UGI: Predictive modeling in the development of available space for green infrastructure due to autonomous mobility systems, TU Vienna & AIT Vienna, 2017.

 - Development of a quantitative and spatially explicit integrated model for mapping the current urban fabric that conducts alternative land-use scenarios for the next decades, by modeling change of built-up land to open green space and evaluating resulting effects. The model considers the distribution, size, and connectivity of UGI elements, as a green network linking the urban with the peri-urban. The project evaluates conversion alternatives and identifies UGI priority areas.
